Artist's Comments
This is a WIP of an idea born from crack-filled conversations between a couple of friends of mine and myself about how the mazoku would spend their summer vacation -- with every idea getting more and more insane as we went lol. :3
So I suggested Garv would wear his school uniform from the Slayers Try eyecatch and be escorted off the beach by the police. This is the result. Fibrizo (complete in swim trunks and his trademark sash) has decided to rub it in and laugh at Garv, which is making Garv really angry.  I was going to make it all serious and with regular-sized characters -- then I remembered Garv falls under the category of beefy dudes I can't draw lawl-- Nah, I just decided it would be a lot funnier to go with a more cartoon-ish style here. Even shading it kind of took away from the silliness. Detail-lacking SD bodies ftw! I still label it a WIP though because I don't feel quite finished and might find some way to make it better yet.  Garv and Fibrizo belong to Hajime Kanzaka -- I just like to show them lots of luv. <3 |
